Computer Networking & Digital Forensics

Course Description

This program’s curriculum centers on networks and the computer devices that comprise a typical network. With a solid understanding of network fundamentals, a variety of careers related to information technology are possible such as: desktop support, network engineer and administration, computer forensics, IT security, and litigation support. Program curriculum aligns with CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco and Aruba Networks, an HP company. All students are expected to obtain two computer forensics certifications, a copper based cabling certification and the CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification. Upon achieving the skills and certifications offered in the program, students are competitive for entry level employment in Information Technology.

  • Completed Application (online)
  • Be at least 18 yrs. of age
  • High School Transcript or GED diploma
  • College Transcripts (if applicable)
  • Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal History, Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Physical Exam including: 2 step PPD, Drug Screen, Immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu Vaccine
  • Attend student orientation/interview
