This is a very important development for students interested in green building! This kind of program used to only be offered at a masters level. Degrees are now being offered on the undergrad level for students who are interested in pursuing studies in construction, engineering and architecture for green technology and sustainable design can start now. Credits that they earn for their work in Construction Cluster (Building Trades, Carpentry, Electricity, and HVAC) work toward a variety of associate degrees. Those students can participate in the new Bachelor’s program in sustainable design.
