BLS Healthcare Provider Course

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course teaches CPR skills based on the new AHA Guidelines released in December 2005 for helping victims of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It’s intended for participants who provide heath care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.

Intended Audience: Healthcare providers, such as nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, health home aids, or medical or nursing assistants,
and other allied health personnel.

• CPR Certification card
• Course cost

 

Course Length: approximately 5 1/2 – 6 hours
Fee: $90 (Textbooks included)
