Delaware County Technical High School is accepting aaplications for he 2011-12 and 2012-12 school years. The following resources are available to help you complete the application process.

High school applicants will be accepted based upon the following minimum criteria: aptitude/interest, attendance history, grades, and career readiness. Some individual programs require an interview process which will be taken into consideration in addition to the criteria listed below. For students who have Individual Education Programs, please see DCTS Admissions Policies and Procedures (Section 9).
WEIGHT – CRITERIA 50% Aptitude/Interest for specific training (occupational assessment) 25% Attendance record 20% Achievement record (grade point average) 5% Career readiness essay 100% TOTAL All students who are interested in attending the Delaware County Technical High Schools must take the online Career Scope Assessment prior to entry into the programs. Please follow the instructions below: 1. Go to https://dcts.careerscope.net to get started. 2. Choose “ New Evaluees Register Here.” 3. Users must create a User ID and Password. A. User ID – firstlast name (no spaces all lowercase) B. Password – Name of School (i.e. upperdarby) – no spaces all lowercase) 4. Be sure to write down your User ID and Password in the case you need to log in again. 5. At the next screen fill out the form including first name, last name, birthday, enrollment, grade and choose Specialist Specialist. 6. The system then goes directly into a practice screen. If you are unable to gain access to the internet or are having a problem, please contact your home school guidance counselor or The Delaware County Technical Schools at 610-583-7620 ext 203.Failure to complete this final step of the admissions process could impact your acceptance.
After we receive your application and you complete the Career Scope Assessment, we will work with your school counselor to obtain all the supporting documentation, including your attendance record, grades, and discipline record..
