Want to pursue a management career in the food industry?

Students who are serious about management careers in the food industry should apply for Culinary Arts and Food Service Mangement. This program is taught in new state-of-the-art facilities at the DCTS Marple Education Center in Broomall. Students are taught food preparation, front of the house management, inventory control, safety, sanitation and business management skills.

We are the only career and technical high school in the area to be certified by the American Culinary Federation. The majority of our students graduate from college with Associates Degrees in Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry Arts and many continue earning their Bachelors’ Degree in Food Service Management. The instructor is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has over 20 years experience in food service management. Chef Young was awarded his Club Managers Certification from the Club Managers Association of America in May of 1991.

FCCLA Family Career & Community Leaders of America 2012 State Star Event and Medal Winners are announced. Students competed in state events in March.
