Students Learn Inventory Control While Operating a Real Distribution Center.

Materials and Inventory Control introduces students to the distribution service industry. The course curriculum prepares students to work in distribution centers, warehouses, and supply rooms.

Students learn safety standard compliance, tool and equipment identification, operation of industrial lift/transport equipment, data entry and communication skills.

The students develop these skills while managing and operating the DCIU Distribution Center and the Science Material Center for Delaware County. Upon completion, students will have the necessary skills to obtain an entry-level position in the field.

Selected students will compete in the Skills USA District 2 Competition at Western Montgomery Career and Technical Center.  Leadership Competitions are scheduled January 31; Skills Competitions are scheduled February 1.

We are tentatively holding February 2nd in calendar in case of snow.
